Since its formation in 1982 Wall Heath Camera Club has grown and flourished - a popular and well respected club in the local area. We now call ourselves Wall Heath Photography Group as many members take photographs on various devices, not just cameras.
We are affiliated to a number of organisations including the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Midland Counties Photographic Federation, and Members of the Black Country (formerly Dudley) Arts Council..
Whether you are a beginner looking for help and advice or an experienced photographer looking for a new exciting, challenging, outlet for your talents, Wall Heath Photography Group is the Club for you. The group that helps you ‘develop’.
Introduction to the Camera Club
The club is run by its members, but a committee meets regularly to discuss club matters. Minutes are taken at each of these meetings. The committee consists of a maximum ten members who are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting in January.
Wall Heath Photography Group always welcomes new members, regardless of previous experience. If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy your photography, and to join a club whose social activities have always been as important as the picture taking, why not join us?
Main meetings take place on 2nd & 4th Tuesdays each month. Take a look at our Calendar of Events (Programme page) for a complete list of meetings over the next few months. Typical meetings include:
· Competitions
· Inter-Club Competitions
· Presentations and Talks by successful and respected photographers
· Travelling Exhibitions
· Demonstrations
· Practical Sessions, including studio.
